I'm not in denial that I'm part of a generation that is almost surgically attached a phone or laptop. I'd love to give it all up in protest (she says, typing a blogpost, texting the boyfriend, watching midsummer murders with feet in a foot spa), but that's not very realistic. There's definitely a few apps that I'm currently addicted to, so I thought I'd share my current top 5 with you!
ps- I do have an iPhone, so I have no idea if you can get a couple of these on android, sorry!
Candy Crush
Yes. I know. I'm one of those people. But this game is so good and so frustrating all at once. I've had it ever since I got my phone about a year ago and I'm on level 125 so I might not exactly be a pro, but we weren't all made for the big leagues.
Instagram
I've been addicted to constantly scrolling this for months now. It's turning me into a little bit of a stalker, if you must know. Gazing longingly at exotic locations, outfits and food has given me serious wanderlust. I've planned out about seven holidays the the past week.
Countdown
This one took a back seat for a while, and I had kind of forgotten I had it. But it's made a come back for summer, my favourite current countdowns being the last minute plans I'm making for some festival fun with my boyfriend!
map my ride
I found this quite recently because I wanted to get more active while I'm home over the summer, and living where I do in the country is perfect for adventurous bike rides. With this, you can choose how far you want to go and it will help you plan a route, or just press go and bike to your hearts content. A fabulous alternative for the Nike running apps if runnning turns you into a quivering asthmatic sweaty mess.
egg timer
I saved the best until last. I love eggs, however I'm beyond rubbish at getting them just right. This helps me get them perfect every time. Choose boiled, fried, scrambled, poached, what size egg you have and how well done you want them and this baby sets the perfect time. The app also has recipes and the low down on things you wanted to know about eggs but were afraid to ask. Oh baby.
