If I lost my make up bag...

I had a moment the other day. I was unpacking from one of my infamous weekends away (if only), and I couldn't find my make up bag anywhere. Of course, after wailing my heart out and running round like a headless chicken for far too long, there it was. Already unpacked. Sitting patiently on my dressing table.

It made me think though; what would I do? I would love to claim that I frequently exit the house au naturel, but that's not the case. So here's what I would run out to buy ASAP...

Some of you smart cookies might have noticed a common link between these beauties: they can all be picked up from Boots. If I were to lose everything, I would definitely not be in the mood to faff around in a whole load of stores. These are all my favourite base products of the moment, and the ones that I reach for on a daily basis. To be honest, I could survive on the Benefit brow gel and Stila primer, but that wouldn't really make for a very exciting post. I've not put in any foundation or mascara because I'm quite used to going without those, though mascara less so.

These other bits are all pieces that I think I would find myself missing pretty quickly. I tend to fill in my brows most days, but I would be able to cope with having just MAC omega from my quad, though maybe espresso too. These are the mascaras that I'm loving right now, but to be honest it's pretty rare that I buy the same one twice so I'd just pick up whatever I was in the mood for.

I tend to vary between bold eyes and lips for when I'm feeling a bit more out there, so I would definitely have to have this Kate Moss for Rimmel lipstick to hand. I just love how it makes my lips look, plus it's really long lasting. I don't wear foundation on a daily basis because I feel like it just clogs my skin up too much, but if I were going to pick a new one up this is what I've been reaching for recently. I've found that Rimmel foundations are pretty much the only high street brand that don't make me feel like a walking tango.
