I have so many evenings when I feel far too lazy to stumble all of a few meters to the bathroom (don't worry, I know how so super super lazy I am!) to use my Liz Earle cleanse and polish -I did a review here. Most of the time I do make the effort, but now I have my new make up layout in student accommodation I have these few products lurking temptingly close...
I chose these as my 'lazy' routine because I don't like using face wipes, they always leave me feeling like I haven't quite taken all my make up off properly.
First off I use a Body Shop 'Aloe calming facial cleanser' for sensitive skin. I found this lurking around at home before I moved out, and I'm the only one who will use it! I really like this, especially as it's more of a cream than a liquid, and it removes my make up really well while not leaving my skin feeling dried out which I do often find to be a problem.
I use the Body Shop organic cotton pads with this because I really love the size that they are. I don't wear inches thick make up, but they are great to just make sure that you're really cleansing your face properly.
Next I tend to take off my eye make up, for which I use the Body Shop 'Camomile gentle eye make up remover'. If you haven't tried this, I can't recommend it enough. It's never made my eyes sting, and it does a really good job even on waterproof mascara. Before I hopped onto the Liz Earle bandwagon, I was using this. I've not found anything that works quite as well for me, and I think I might even go back to it when I've finished the cleanse & polish!
Finally, I've been finishing off the cleanse part of my lazy make up routine with the No7 beautiful skin cleanser. Although I have normal to dry skin, I use the normal to oily for anything in the evening. But why, I hear you cry in horror! I have an oily t-zone which gets super dry sometimes, so I use this just to get off that excess oil for when I then moisturise. I know cleansing twice might seem strange, but I find it very relaxing to do.
I hope you've enjoyed this post! I'm trying to post something of a mini series of all my various skincare routines, so the moisturiser and such that I use will be coming in another post shortly :)
I love doing this while I'm relaxing with a hot chocolate and watching something before I go to bed and now I don't even have to move to do it! The height of laziness, I know.
I hope you're all enjoying autumn as much as I am!
