I'm trying to mix up a few genres at the moment with my reading list. I've just finished The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler, which I really enjoyed but it took me forever to read. I think books into three categories for me.
01. ohmygoodnessifIdon'tfinishthisnowI'lllexplode
02. WHAT happened? Oh well... I'm kind of tired, I'll read more tomorrow
03. I can't. Nope, This is too boring.
Normally if a book falls under category 3, I'll give up after a few chapters (or sometimes pages. Sylvia Plath I'm looking at you), but luckily for the most part books fall under 1 or 2. From watching the film, I'm hoping The Time Traveller's Wife might be a 1. I've read some Sherlock Holmes stories before, but I don't think I've ever read these two, which are actually the first two stories of the series. Solitaire is also on my list because I found it on my bookshelf the other day and realised I've never actually read it!
