A few weeks ago it was with RED magazine, this week it was Cosmopolitan. Apparently beauty events are all part of my new jet set London lifestyle. Well okay, not quite, but you get my drift. I heard about this event a few weeks ago and thought it would be perfect for advice and just general blogging know how, and I was right.
A panel were there to talk about 'how to make your blog shine' in a nutshell; find more here. The panel consisted of Joe Williams (founder of Zen Optimise), Ali Luke (head of Content at Zen Optimise), Vicki Fogwill (social media manager at Next), Kat Williams (founder of cult wedding site rocknrollbride.com) and Fleur De Force (beauty and fashion vlogger). I absolutely loved the evening, and survived my first ever trip alone to London!
I spent the day in London before I went to the event in the evening, so I thought I'd share with you guys just some photos that I took throughout the day!

Couldn't resist a quick snoop round choccywoccydoodah, I was going to buy my boyfriend something but I was worried about it melting too much in the humid weather!
I know there's hundreds of interesting places to go in London, but because of anxiety reasons I settled on somewhere I knew, which worked out pretty well because this is literally my favourite lunch ever! I love the mushroom risotto, and the edamame beans? Pass me a sackful please.
Sitting in Starbucks before the event, I mass produced some little business cards just in case I wanted to swap some details with someone!

I can't believe I met Fleur! She was one of the people that inspired me to start blogging. She's so lovely, even if I did have a bit of a star struck moment and looked like a total idiot. Oh well.
I never normally get the chance to go first class, and as it was only 60p more because I got such a late train, I decided to treat myself!
